4. BETSY⁴ NAIRN (595) (James³, David², John¹) was born on 31 Jul 1858 at Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. She married James Barlow (594), son of Joseph Barlow (596) and Catharine McDonald (597), on 28 Mar 1882. She died on 29 Sep 1935 at Dundee, Forfarshire, Scotland, at age 77.

5. BETSY NAIRN⁵ BARLOW (584) (Betsy⁴ Nairn, James³, David², John¹) was born on 11 Feb 1894 at Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. She married John Sinclair (583), son of John Sinclair (588) and Annie Stewart McDougall (589), on 24 Mar 1925. She died on 18 Apr 1962 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland, at age 68.

ii. SPIDER (2131)⁶ was born in 1991.⁷ He/she died in Apr 1997 at Tenafly, Bergen, New Jersey.⁸
Spider was a ribbon snake.⁹
      iii.   CURLY (3)¹⁰ was born in Oct 1991 at Virginia, USA. He died on 31 Jul 2002 at 7471 Brook Way Court, Mechanicsville, Hanover, Virginia, USA, 23111, at age 10.¹¹
     Curly was reported to be a terrier-border collie mix -- in other words, a mutt.¹²
     Curly Lawrence (3) was adopted in Dec 1991 at Albemarle County Animal Shelter, Charlottesville, Albemarle, Virginia, USA, 22901.¹³
