John Robinson purchased 400 acres of land near the head of Muddy Creek in Goochland County in 1738 (1,2,3,4). This property was contiguous with the land of William Bradshaw, Samuel Nichols and William Fabor (2). John Robinson later acquired 500 acres of land on Deep Creek (1). He was a member of Southam Parish, Cumberland County, from 1745-1751 (5). The will of John Robinson was dated 11 Dec 1767 and proved in Cumberland County Court on 15 Apr 1768.
