     Lydia Bill was born on 7 July 1753 at Norwich, New London, Connecticut, USA. Lydia Bill was the daughter of Ephraim Bill and Lydia Huntington. Lydia Bill married Joseph Howland on 11 May 1772 at Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA. Lydia Bill died on 1 May 1838 at New York, New York, USA, at age 84.
          Her married name was Howland.

     Margaret Bill was born circa 1669. Margaret Bill was the daughter of Philip Bill and Hannah Waite. Margaret Bill died on 8 July 1689 at New London, New London, Connecticut, USA.

     Philip Bill was born before 7 April 1629 at Ringstead, Northamptonshire, England. Philip Bill was the son of James Bill and Dorothy Tuttle. Philip Bill married Hannah Waite, daughter of Samuel Waite and Mary Ward.¹ Philip Bill died on 8 July 1689 at New London, New London, Connecticut, USA.
          He was born in 1620 and came to America in 1634 with his mother Dorothy. (American Ancestry, 5:21.)      He is first known of "at Pulling Point near James Bill," in 1660. This is now Winthrop, Mass. He was in Ipswich in May 1663. In 1668 he returned to Pulling Point and shortly after moved to New London. He settled east of the River Thames near Robert Allyn and George Geer. (Caulkin's History of New London, p. 146.)
     In 1670 he was fined for neglect of training (do p. 250).
     He died on 8 Jul 1689. His daughter, Margaret, died the same day. Both were victims of an epidemic throat disease that was prevalent in July and August of that year.
     Mr. Bradstreet baptized his son, Jonathan on 5 Nov 1671 and adds to the record that the father was a member of the church at Ipswich. Another son, Joshua, was baptized in 1675. The other childred, probably born in Ipswich, were Philip, Samuel, John and Elizabeth (do p. 320).
     Either he or his son, Philip, served in King Philip's War. (Book of the Society of Colonial Wars.).¹

     Robert Bill was born at Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire, England. Robert Bill was the son of Thomas Bill and Isabella (?). Robert Bill married Mary (?) after 1583. Robert Bill died before 3 July 1610 at Ringstead, Northamptonshire, England.

     Samuel Bill was born circa 1665 at Near Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA. Samuel Bill was the son of Philip Bill and Hannah Waite. Samuel Bill married Mercy Haughton, daughter of Richard Haughton and Katherine (?).
          He was born in, or near, Boston about 1665 and was the second son of Phillip Bill. He went to Connecticut with his father in 1669. He married Mercy, daughter of Richard Haughton of Boston and New London. His second wife's name was Elizabeth.
     He and his wife, Mercy, were admitted to the church in New London on 3 Sep 1693. He was one of five members of the church who signed a paper entitled "Complaint against the Elder of the Church of Christ in New London.      The Elder was the Reverend Gurdon Saltonstall, pastor of the church and afterwards Governor of Connecticut. For this the five were dismissed from the church. (Caulkin's History of New London, Connecticut.).¹

Thomas Bill married Abigail Willis, daughter of Michael Willis, circa 1659 at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA. Thomas Bill died on 29 October 1696 at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA.

          Her married name was Birch.
